Andrea McGeachin Joins Smart Voucher

Andrea McGeachin has joined Smart Voucher, the UK-based specialist payment solutions and services provider, as the Commercial Director, primarily targeting sales growth.

Previously the Sales Director at Pixology plc where she worked this year in the team that completed the successful trade sale of the company, Andrea's primary responsibility will be within the sales areas of both Smart Voucher and Ukash (the globally-recognised e-commerce cash payment method), in particular maintaining the current high levels of growth in transaction volumes as Ukash expands outside of Europe.

Mark Chirnside, CEO of Smart Voucher Ltd, is pleased to have Andrea joining the company at this exciting time in its development: "Her proven experience in managing relationships with some of the largest international retailers will be highly valued as we expand the reach of Ukash into new areas of ecommerce around the world.

"Andrea's knowledge and relationships gained across a range of industries and sectors will also enable new business opportunities to be exploited, based on Smart Voucher's proven expertise in deploying white-label and closed-loop payment systems."

In her role at Pixology, leading providers of software for the digital photography industry, Andrea built up extensive sales and senior relationship management experience across different industries with specific knowledge of the retail and e-commerce sector. Her customers have included Amazon, Asda, Costco and Tesco. Commenting on her new role Andrea said "this is a particularly exciting time to be joining Smart Voucher and being part of this next phase of the company's expansion. I strongly believe that innovative payment systems such as Ukash will be increasingly prominent in the future growth of online retail so I'm looking forward to taking it into new markets & territories."

Previously Andrea was Head of European Sales for Scansoft Inc (now Nuance Inc) where she gained an understanding of the separate market needs for European countries.

Prior to this, at Exxon Mobil, Andrea created and implemented the Esso UK Shops merchandising strategy which was subsequently rolled out globally.

Andrea has also worked at Xerox, J Sainsbury and Cable & Wireless.
